Accordion File
Plastic Bin
Vinyl Lunchbox

Solution: With everyone’s hectic schedule these days, it’s a wonder anybody can stay organized. Well, I have some hints to keep you on track.

1. Load a sturdy plastic accordion file with paperwork that you need on the go. Envelopes, stamps, pen, paper, mail, your kids schedules and important phone numbers. You can easily bring the file in and out of the car to sort, unload and reload, it’s sturdy so it will stand up to a lot of wear and tear and it will free your car and counters of paper clutter.

2. Keep a plastic bin or laundry basket by the back door and let the family members know that this is the family travel tote! Everything that they need for the next day that doesn’t go in their school bags gets put in the tote before bedtime. From dance clothes to soccer socks you won’t have to run around in the morning looking for those things. Little ones? Stash some extra diapers and wipes as well as juice boxes and snacks. In the morning, you’ll have to load one tote rather than ten bags!

3. Make sure that you equip your car with a garbage can of some sort to control messes on the go, try an old vinyl lunch bag it’s the perfect size and you can secure the strap to a back seat so the bag doesn’t fly around!

Money Saving Cleaners http://www.womencorp.org/money-saving-cleaners/ http://www.womencorp.org/money-saving-cleaners/#respond Sun, 02 Sep 2007 04:03:14 +0000 http://www.womencorp.org/womeninbusiness/?p=65 Things You’ll Need

Mineral Oil
Jar
Baking Soda
Spray Bottle
White Vinegar
Soft Cloth
Liquid Dish Soap

Solution:

Small savings? Not really, if you replace your commercial cleansers with some of these
homemade solutions, you could save yourself a fortune!

1. For wood furniture, mix a half a cup of mineral oil and a quarter cup of white vinegar together in a screw top jar. Shake them together. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and polish; the oil will add moisture to the wood while the vinegar cleans it.

2. Vinegar can also save you a lot of money in the kitchen too. Dishwasher rinse aid costs between three and four dollars a bottle. Forget it; fill the reservoir with white vinegar instead. It works just as well and think of how many times you’ll be able to fill that reservoir with one seventy-five cent bottle of vinegar.

3. For an all-purpose kitchen and bath cleaner that won’t scratch surfaces, make a
paste of baking soda and liquid dish soap. Just scrub it on and rinse it clean!

4. If you like air fresheners but not the price, buy a bottle of essential oil from
your favorite health food store. Fill a spray bottle with warm water and add
about twenty drops of the oil. Shake it up and spritz away! Fresh and clean at a fraction of the cost.
