Money Saving Cleaners

Things You'll Need

Mineral Oil
Jar
Baking Soda
Spray Bottle
White Vinegar
Soft Cloth
Liquid Dish Soap

Solution:

Small savings? Not really, if you replace your commercial cleansers with some of these
homemade solutions, you could save yourself a fortune!

1. For wood furniture, mix a half a cup of mineral oil and a quarter cup of white vinegar together in a screw top jar. Shake them together. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and polish; the oil will add moisture to the wood while the vinegar cleans it.

2. Vinegar can also save you a lot of money in the kitchen too. Dishwasher rinse aid costs between three and four dollars a bottle. Forget it; fill the reservoir with white vinegar instead. It works just as well and think of how many times you'll be able to fill that reservoir with one seventy-five cent bottle of vinegar.

3. For an all-purpose kitchen and bath cleaner that won't scratch surfaces, make a
paste of baking soda and liquid dish soap. Just scrub it on and rinse it clean!

4. If you like air fresheners but not the price, buy a bottle of essential oil from
your favorite health food store. Fill a spray bottle with warm water and add
about twenty drops of the oil. Shake it up and spritz away! Fresh and clean at a fraction of the cost.
